Trust
Say it.
Close your eyes.
Say it again.
What do you feel?
A number of things I would imagine, depending on your life experiences.
Does it make you feel good to say it?
Do you feel scared?
Angry?
At a loss?
It is one of the things in life that I think most people are having the hardest time with.
Who do you trust?
I mean trust.
Do you even trust yourself?
Now think about this and what it means to you:
Perfect Trust.
As far as I have been able to ascertain, most of our worlds religions have a lot to say about it.
But what does it mean to you...
ask yourself.
I have seen that one of the things we need most in this life is to develop trust; to learn to take it as well as give it.
Yes, we need love.
But what is love if you don't trust the ones) you love...
if they don't trust you?
In any relationship on any level you need trust.
Yes... Trust is often betrayed. But again you have to Trust... that the experience had a higher meaning.
Something that you cant perceive at the moment but you trust that it will work out and you perhaps will one day understand why you had to be hurt.
This is Perfect Trust.
Nature is a manifestation of Creation.
However you perceive or refer to Creation, Nature is part of it.
No matter what your theology or religion or lack of it:
Nature is Creation.
You can have Perfect Trust in Creation.
You can have Perfect Trust in Nature.
Whether you see it as Gods, Goddesses, both or neither.
Perfect Trust.
Try it. Instead of striving, give what you are striving for to Perfect Trust: know that your needs will enfold.
Often it is the striving that is getting in your way of receiving your needs. Once we except that our needs are a given and know the difference between need and want: we will find that our needs and wants are the same.
We each have a place in this Universe; a path to follow on this Earth Walk.
It is when we are looking for more than we need; what isn't on our path that we find disappointment.
Have Perfect Trust that what is enfolding for you on your path is there for a reason, except it and walk on.
What's this got to do with Co-Creative Gardening?
You must have Perfect Trust that no matter what happens, no matter how frustrating it is that Nature knows what is best. For The Garden and for you.
You have to learn to let go of the concept that you need to be in total control; that your wants are first.
You may have to plant an entire row of beans to see them rot to some disease: because for some reason they are not needed. Or watch a deer eat the entire crop; their need was greater.
Nature knows better than you.
You wanted the beans, you may not have needed them.
Trust Nature that something else will replace the beans.
Who knows... maybe you really do need all that zucchini and tomatoes?
Trust me on this...... :-)
Trust Nature.
Trust Creation.
Trust The Divine.
Give your friends and family your trust: take theirs.
Trust yourself.
